How to set up your fundraising page
Access the Just Giving website: https://www.justgiving.com/
Either create a new account or log into your existing one.
Click “Start Fundraising”. On the next page set the country to ‘United Kingdom’ next to the search bar and search for Aid Box Community. Scroll down until you find our charity with our logo and click on it.
This will take you to a page with eight icons. If you have signed up to do a the 10k or the Half Marathon please pick ‘Taking part in an event’, look for ‘Great Bristol Run’, and select the event you’re attending. If you are taking part in the Family Run, select ‘Doing your own thing’.
Fill in the details and create or edit your event page by including what motivated you to fundraise in support of refugees and people seeking asylum in Bristol. If you’re not sure what to say, you can simply state that you are ‘running the Bristol 10k because Aid Box Community is a great charity that supports displaced people in my area’.
Once you’ve finalised your page details, you’re good to go!
Get sharing and shout about your fundraising efforts.
